Malaga Pioneer Cemetery was originally located on the knoll above and due east of the fire house on West Malaga and Firehouse Road. The land was owned by Wenatchee Sand and Gravel who later moved the remaining graves to the far west edge of their property near the substation off West Malaga Road. Many of those buried there had already been relocated in other cemeteries by surviving family members.
The two acres then in use were donated in 1902 by I. M. Deerfield and wooden crosses were placed on the graves. The current Malaga Pioneer Cemetery is located southwest of the Malaga Post Office between Malaga and Dixie Lane. In Malaga, from the intersection of the Alcoa Hwy and West Malaga Road, go south .2 of a mile. The cemetery is on the left. but has no access.  The site can be viewed by climbing up the steep road bank on the South side of the road.

The COLUMN SEARCH FILTER boxes above the data table are used for searching in any column of the data table. You can use any or all the boxes to limit your search. Use the ‘Clear Filters’ button to clear out any characters you have entered to start over. Use the bottom ‘Scroll Bar‘ to view more columns or the ‘More Details‘ button to display a window of the record’s data.
The table SEARCH box on the top right can also be used to search for data in ANY column. No need to use ‘wildcards’ in your search, the filters do that automatically, therefore don’t put too much info in any filter box; it could cause nothing to be found; start with just a few characters in the search boxes (like: jone for searching for Jones, Edward C. in the NAME column filter box), then add more characters or use other column filters to narrow your search.
You can PRINT, download in CSV or Excel format, or copy to the clipboard the displayed records. Use the ‘Show Entries’ pulldown to control how many rows of data to display on each page.  Always check the print preview and verify the number of pages you want to print.
