Ottmar Cemetery, aka Keller Cemetery, & Rocky Reach Cemetery, Grant County, WA, Wheeler, WA 98837.
Location: The Ottmar Cemetery is located at the corner of Rd 8 NE and Rd P NE. The cemetery is located in the northwest corner of T20N, R29E, Section 26. To go to the cemetery, go to the town of Wheeler, and continue east on the paved county road until you come to a large irrigation canal. Just past the canal, turn north on the paved road and continue to the cemetery.
Notes of interest:  The cemetery is fenced and gets some cleaning each spring before Memorial Day – probably family members take care of their own. I would guess there are about 10 stones, a couple of metal funeral home markers and unmarked graves.
The cemetery is referred to by the local residents as the Old Keller Cemetery. The cemetery began when a Mr. Ottmar donated 1 acre of land to the Evangelical Church in Ruff, about 1910, after losing their children at an early age.  The Keller family also lost children a few years after that. In 1910 Mr. and Mrs. Ottmar gave the land to the Evangelical Church of Ruff for a cemetery. I visited the cemetery on Sunday, 20 October 2010.  I have used information by Maggie Rail (interment) and from the Washington State Cemetery Association (Find A Grave).
The COLUMN SEARCH FILTER boxes above the data table are used for searching in any column of the data table. You can use any or all the boxes to limit your search. Use the ‘Clear Filters’ button to clear out any characters you have entered to start over. Use the bottom ‘Scroll Bar‘ to view more columns or the ‘More Details‘ button to display a window of the record’s data.
The table SEARCH box on the top right can also be used to search for data in ANY column. No need to use ‘wildcards’ in your search, the filters do that automatically, therefore don’t put too much info in any filter box; it could cause nothing to be found; start with just a few characters in the search boxes (like: jone for searching for Jones, Edward C. in the NAME column filter box), then add more characters or use other column filters to narrow your search.
You can PRINT, download in CSV or Excel format, or copy to the clipboard the displayed records. Use the ‘Show Entries’ pulldown to control how many rows of data to display on each page.  Always check the print preview and verify the number of pages you want to print.
